The popular online open-world of Second Life has been used for fire drills, safety tests and other low cost simulation based testing for many years now.
The latest innovation in virtual testing environments comes from Cyber Security Challenge UK who are looking for the next generation of cyber security talent using a virtual skyscraper known as ‘Cyphinx’. Minecraft is being used within Cyphinx as part of testing offering a fun approach to finding talent and should help encourage a younger audience to pursue a career in cyber security.
