I’m sure we’ve already had an example of a break-in at the US Emergency System a while back. Wasn’t there some faked missile warning on the West coast or Hawaii? Anyway, at least they are admitting there is something seriously wrong with is a start:
Usually I only see petty issues play out on the local news, but this article from insurance companies blaming car owners for not doing enough to protect car fobs from replay attacks is quite something (comments are usually good too). Their best suggestion of putting the car fob in the microwave is amusing as where else would you keep them?
