A selection of this week’s more interesting vulnerability disclosures and cyber security news. Normally I single out a few articles each week, however its becoming quite clear that there is an increase in cryptocurrency related attacks and attempts to mine more. Not included here, but I’ve seen an article claiming that more power is being used in Iceland for cryptocurrency than homes. This can only spread, more so with some of the instances in the list below. A new age of prospecting could be upon us.
Apart from those, we have a number of self inflicted exposure of S3 again. Again.
OK, perhaps I will pull out one article to comment on and that is this 0-day. Its interesting because of the novel attack method. What’s the chances this one is not alone?
